Basics of visual mending

Come and learn how to mend and decorate your clothing with simple shapes and running stitch. We shall go through the basics of English Paper Piecing, applique and decorative stitching.
The workshop starts at 10.00, 12.00 and 14.00, and each session takes about 1 h 30 min. Seats are limited, and you can secure your place by booking it in the info.
Paper templates, fabrics, needles and thread are provided.
The workshop will be held in English.

Irina Malyukova
Irina is a textile artist based in Helsinki, Finland. She has been quilting since 2014. She also designs patterns and has a blog at www.nordiccrafter.com, where she shares her knowledge and expertise with fellow quilters. Her works have been exhibited both in Finland and abroad. In September 2022 she had a personal exhibition at European Patchwork meeting in France. She is a member of local quilt guild Syyrinki.
